Help your child start the new school year feeling confident, refreshed, and ready to succeed!
Join Ascend Advocacy Agency and D'House of Angels for a fun-filled afternoon designed especially for students in Grades 3-12. This unique outdoor experience combines wellness, creativity, and connection to help children reset mentally, emotionally, and physically before heading back to the classroom.
Participants will enjoy a gentle yoga session led by Nicole Peterson, creative painting, fishing, outdoor games, Splash Pad, BBQ hotdogs/Burgers (other snacks), and engaging activities that encourage relaxation, confidence, and positive connections.
This workshop also helps students prepare for the school year by exploring the importance of making healthy choices, building positive friendships, and recognizing the qualities of supportive, respectful peers. Through age-appropriate discussions and interactive activities, children will learn how to make good decisions, handle peer pressure, communicate respectfully, and build friendships that encourage kindness, confidence, and success.
